ExpoKa maintains a zero-tolerance policy against intellectual property infringement, counterfeiting, unauthorized brand representation, and copyright piracy. We are committed to protecting authentic brand owners, creators, and inventors while fostering fair global trade.

1. Protected Intellectual Property

This policy covers all registered and legally recognized IP rights across international jurisdictions:

  • Trademarks: Brand names, brand logos, slogans, and distinctive trade dresses.
  • Copyrights: Product photographs, descriptive text, marketing videos, software, and proprietary artwork.
  • Patents & Industrial Designs: Patented utility inventions, technical solutions, and registered aesthetic product designs.

2. Prohibited Seller Activities

Suppliers and vendors listing products on ExpoKa agree that they possess all necessary licenses, distribution rights, and authorizations. The following actions result in immediate sanctions:

  • Listing counterfeit goods, unauthorized replicas, or imitations bearing protected brand marks.
  • Using copyrighted manufacturer or competitor product photos without explicit authorization.
  • Selling products violating valid regional patent rights or registered industrial designs.

3. Notice and Takedown Procedure (Filing an Infringement Claim)

If you are a verified intellectual property owner or an authorized representative, you can file an official takedown request by sending an email to support@expoka.com containing:

  1. Full legal name, company name, address, phone number, and official email of the rights owner.
  2. Proof of intellectual property ownership (Trademark registration certificate, patent grant, or copyright registration).
  3. Exact URL(s) of the infringing listing(s) or supplier profile(s) on ExpoKa.com.
  4. A declaration made in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder or law.
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury confirming accuracy and authority to act.

4. Investigation, Removal, and Sanctions

Upon receipt of a valid notice, ExpoKa's legal compliance team acts promptly:

  • Inquiry initiated within 24 business hours.
  • Temporary hiding or permanent removal of the disputed listings.
  • Repeat infringement results in immediate vendor store suspension, forfeiture of seller security deposits, and permanent banning from the marketplace.
